Update

I have been out of the immigration loop for a while. I've been extremely busy with school and working out to loose the weight to join the Air Force. In any case Obama is our next president and the buzz in the Mexican community is that he will at least try to implement to reform immigration and many hope that they will be able to be legalized. I sincerely hope this is the case. I hope he manages to legalize those productive members of society with no criminal records who have been in the country illegally for at least 15 years. I think that if you broke immigration laws to come to America you have to pay the price. Also, the 15 years would have to be without lapses. I will wait and see and hope that those who have assimilated the American culture, even if they entered the country illegally, are rewarded and those who have become a burden and social programs are given the boot.
